The Hornets were led by Sophomore Kelsey Johnson who led the way with a career high 14 points. She was followed by Senior Nyemade Cooper (9 points) and Freshman Katrina Carlsen (9 points). Hornets Drop Home Contest to #1 Davenport
Kalamazoo lost to Davenport, ranked first in the country in NAIA, but a score of 100-57. Davenport (12-1) pressured Kalamazoo throughout the entire game, but the Hornets put 3 separate runs of 6,8,and 7 together throughout the second half. Although the Hornets lost the contest, Kalamazoo was able to focus on goals throughout the second half, many of which they acheived.
